One Creator One Mission

Greetings and gracious thanks to the Almighty, Iniversal creator of all mankind, that through the ultimate wisdom of the unseen creator that has allowed man to migrate to different parts of the world and bring along the consciousness of the Almighty that is in man. As Rastafari, InI will like to give thanks to Haile Selassie I and Empress Menen, the fullness of Jah for the daily inspiration and guidance of how InI should live as well as tolerate InI distant family as a created being in this universe.

InI purpose on this earth is to help unite mankind through the love of Jah by loving InI neighbors and being mature enough to sit down and reason with other vessels of the GOOD light that produces such fruit, like love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance (Gal 5:22-23). Almost daily I meditate on these words from InI Yah and Negus.

Were the thoughts of Plato and Socrates, the beliefs of Christianity and Judaism not harmonized with Hindu philosophy; were Yoga and its various stages not exposed to Western thought; had Western religion and philosophy not been exposed to the philosophy and religion of the East through Your Excellency’s persistent endeavour, how much the poorer would human thought have been!

RAHDAKRISHNAN RECEIVES DEGREE

FROM H.S.I.U.

Today more than ever before man realizes the bond of unity that exists within the race; he is endeavouring to employ the accumulated knowledge and wisdom of the ages. He is employing modern science and technology; he is reaping the benefits, however limited, of political and economic unity; and to that extent. he is transcending the age-old barriers that have divided the race so long and is endeavouring to reflect on the welfare not only of himself and his immediate neighbour but also on the welfare of all the human race. This endeavour is in harmony with the spirit of the mystics of ages gone by “… in the mystic traditions of the different religions we have a remarkable unity of the spirit. Whatever religions they may profess they are spiritual kinsmen. While the different religions in their historic forms bind us to limited groups and militate against the development of loyalty to the world community, the mystics have always stood for the fellowship of humanity,” so Your Excellency has taught us. And in an effort to carry out this teaching to pursue truth to promote those bonds common to the human race Your Excellency has dedicated your whole life. To free the human race from superstition and fear that originate from ignorance; to enable him to transcend the apparent obstacles of race and religion; and to help him recognize the blood-ties of the whole human race, Your Excellency has laboured. To this generation, so tormented between modern knowledge and ancient faith, your scrupulous studies have pointed the way by which man may be saved from traditional superstition and modern scepticism.

Were the thoughts of Plato and Socrates, the beliefs of Christianity and Judaism not harmonized with Hindu philosophy; were Yoga and its various stages not exposed to Western thought; had Western religion and philosophy not been exposed to the philosophy and religion of the East through Your Excellency’s persistent endeavour, how much thpoorer would human thought have been! In the history of the human race, those periods which later appeared as great have been the periods when the men and the women belonging to them had transcended the differences that divided them and had recognized in their membership in the human race a common bond. Your Excellency’s constant endeavour to challenge this generation to transcend its differences, to recognize its common bond and to work towards a common goal has doubtless made this age pregnant with greatness. It is, therefore, in recognition of these labours that We, with unequalled pleasure, bestow upon Your Excellency the degree of Doctor of Letters, honoris causa.

Qedemawi Haile Selassie

I am always in awe hearing these words, many give Haile Selassie the credit as being the author of these words and there are many who like to prove those with anger, who uses this speech to defend their faith. I will like to add light to this, in the context of this wonderful speech. I find it amazing that InI King of kings, Lion of Judah, and Elect of the God is not the author of the spiritual kinsmen quote but is quoting the honoree, Dr. Rahdakrishnan, a Hindu. In this special speech, Haile Selassie shows his agreeance with Rahdakrishnan by quoting it, saying his excellency has taught us. Selassie then concludes the speech by saying “Your Excellency’s constant endeavour to challenge this generation to transcend its differences, to recognize its common bond and to work towards a common goal has doubtless made this age pregnant with greatness. It is, therefore, in recognition of these labours that We, with unequalled pleasure, bestow upon Your Excellency the degree of Doctor of Letters, honoris causa.”

This encourages InI to live the life that the Almighty has set for us to unify the human race by the works of our faith. Many will like to say that Selassie went to church and so we should follow suit, but unlike InI, those same church goers don’t even accept HIM as their King by ivine covenant and promise by Yah in Psalm 89. It is my conclusion that either ones have the seed of the evil one in them to steer one and ones away or that as stated above are victims of ignorance that Rahdrakrishnan and many others are seeking to help:

To free the human race from superstition and fear that originate from ignorance; to enable him to transcend the apparent obstacles of race and religion; and to help him recognize the blood-ties of the whole human race, Your Excellency has laboured. To this generation, so tormented between modern knowledge and ancient faith, your scrupulous studies have pointed the way by which man may be saved from traditional superstition and modern skepticism.

I was gracious enough to be given safe travels and the opportunity to make it to the Library of Congress in Washington D.C in the pursuit of getting a copy of this Academic Honors of His Imperial Majesty Haile Selassie I Emperor of Ethiopia A Commemorative Volume 1924-1963. Towards the end of the book, it says on pg 124

In this brief biography I would like ones to focus on Haile Selassies’ favorite subjects, the study of history and comparative religion. Through reading that, I have become compelled to do the same, I felt that it is a must that we as a people must find the similarities of our faith. This has caused I, to even challenge myself and break down the barriers that have been built by ignorance and works towards the mission of lasting peace. The Until this day speech is a great example of the mission, this is the focus of what I will like to share.

“Until bigotry and prejudice and malicious and inhuman self-interest have been replaced by understanding and tolerance and good-will;” Bigotry means stubborn, and complete intolerance of any creed, belief, or opinion that differs from one’s own. The context of this speech speaks to the beast of racial discrimination, so in order for this beast to be defeated Haile Selassie wrote a list of things that needs to happen to end it . Here is what he said,

On the question of racial discrimination, the Addis Ababa Conference taught, to those who will learn, this further lesson:

That until the philosophy which holds one race superior and another inferior is finally and permanently discredited and abandoned;

That until there are no longer first-class and second class citizens of any nation;

That until the colour of a man’s skin is of no more significance than the colour of his eyes;

That until the basic human rights are equally guaranteed to all without regard to race;

That until that day, the dream of lasting peace and world citizenship and the rule of international morality will remain but a fleeting illusion, to be pursued but never attained;

And until the ignoble and unhappy regimes that hold our brothers in Angola, in Mozambique and in South Africa in sub-human bondage have been toppled and destroyed;

Until bigotry and prejudice and malicious and inhuman self-interest have been replaced by understand-ing and tolerance and good-will;

Until all Africans stand and speak as free beings, equal in the eyes of all men, as they are in the eyes of Heaven;

Until that day, the African continent will not know peace. We Africans will fight, if necessary, and we know that we shall win, as we are confident in the victory of good over evil.

One can see that there is a lot that needs to be done and that those who love and follow the Christ nature in essence and not flesh will see that we as people are the healing of the nation. The Kingdom of the Most High is in InI, InI has the opportunity to gather and with mutual minds expand this wonderful kingdom of light. Yah Rastafari Haile Selassie I

Lastly, I will like to share an interesting list of the different faiths from the book The Mystical Journey from jesus to Christ by Dr. Muata Abhaya Ashby

on pg 202. He list the concepts of God in world Religions and Mystical Philosophies

The Concept of God in Vedanta and Yoga Philosophies from India

The Absolute reality (God) is named Brahman. Brahman signifies that which is the underlying essence of all phenomena. The Manifesting universe is an appearance of Brahman only, an illusory modification of Brahman. Therefore, Creation never had a beginning and will never have an end, because it is only an appearance. Brahman or the ultimate reality, God, Supreme being, is ALL that exists. All the objects of the world and universe, even though appearing to be different, are really one entity, having the same essence. All physical reality is an illusory manifestation of Brahman, which Brahman sustains at all times, yet is detached from-just as the sun sustains life on earth and yet is detached from it. Brahman is pure consciouness devoid of thought vibrations. All that exists is essentially Brahman, or “Sat-Chit-Ananda-Existence-Knowledge-Bliss Absolute, or Pure consciouness involved with thought vibrations.

The Concept of God in Confucianism

“What the undeveloped man seeks is outside; what the advanced man seeks is within himself.”

The Concept of God in Buddhism

“If you think the Law is outside yourself, you are embracing not the absolute Law but some inferior teaching.”

The Concept of God in Shintoism

“Do not search in distant skies for God. In man’s own heart is He found.”

The Concept of God in Taoism

“Being at one with the Tao is eternal……the great Tao flows everywhere, both to the left and to the right…..”

The Concept of God in Hinduism

“God abides hidden in the hearts of all.”

The Concept of God in Sikhism

“Why wilt thou go into jungles? What do you hope to find there? Even as the scent dwells within the flower, so God within thine own heart ever abides. Seek Him with earnestness and find Him there.”

The Concept of God in Islam

7:65 Section 9. To the Ad people, (We sent) Hud, one of their (own) brethren: He said: “O my people! Worship Allah! Ye have no other god but him. Will ye not fear (Allah)?”

The Concept of God and Creation According to the New Testament and the Gnostic Gospels

In the New testament, the triad of “Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit” is used to describe the idea of God (Matt 28:19). The trinity is the central teaching of Christianity. It holds that God is three personalities, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The idea that there is only one God, but that he exists as “Three”. Christian theologians claim that the true nature of the Trinity is a mystery, which cannot be comprehended by the human mind, although they can grasp some of it meanings. The trinity doctrine was stated in very early Christian creeds whose purpose was to counter other beliefs such as Gnosticism. However, as we saw earlier, later church authorities misunderstood it.

The Concept of God and Creation According to Ancient Egyptian Religion and Mystical Philosophy

In Egyptian mythology, the Trinity was represented as three metaphysical neters or gods. They represent the manifestation of the unseen principles, which support the universe, and the visible aspects of God.
