The Nazarite

Greetings in that Divine name of His Imperial Majesty Emperor Haile Selassie I and Empress Menin. I Ras Säma Selassie, Who seeks to put the head to hear Jah, will like to share InI medi-tations and medi-cine. Medi which means middle or come in between…Yes I will like to share I medi-sin, by first giving honor to InI Medi-ator (Agent of Counseling)my Lord and Savior Yeshua haMoshiyah, Jesus Christ in his rightful and honorable name Qedemawi Haile Selassie.

If the I don’t mind, I will like to share with the I my thoughts on the importance of the Nazarite vow. For some background information, let’s first addres the

What is the Nazarite Vow?

Numbers 6 King James Version (KJV)

6 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When either man or woman shall separate themselves to vow a vow of a Nazarite, to separate themselves unto the Lord:
3 He shall separate himself from wine and strong drink, and shall drink no vinegar of wine, or vinegar of strong drink, neither shall he drink any liquor of grapes, nor eat moist grapes, or dried.
4 All the days of his separation shall he eat nothing that is made of the vine tree, from the kernels even to the husk.
5 All the days of the vow of his separation there shall no razor come upon his head: until the days be fulfilled, in the which he separateth himself unto the Lord, he shall be holy, and shall let the locks of the hair of his head grow.
6 All the days that he separateth himself unto the Lord he shall come at no dead body.
7 He shall not make himself unclean for his father, or for his mother, for his brother, or for his sister, when they die: because the consecration of his God is upon his head.
8 All the days of his separation he is holy unto the Lord.
9 And if any man die very suddenly by him, and he hath defiled the head of his consecration; then he shall shave his head in the day of his cleansing, on the seventh day shall he shave it.
10 And on the eighth day he shall bring two turtles, or two young pigeons, to the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation:
11 And the priest shall offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, and make an atonement for him, for that he sinned by the dead, and shall hallow his head that same day.
12 And he shall consecrate unto the Lord the days of his separation, and shall bring a lamb of the first year for a trespass offering: but the days that were before shall be lost, because his separation was defiled.
13 And this is the law of the Nazarite, when the days of his separation are fulfilled: he shall be brought unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation:
14 And he shall offer his offering unto the Lord, one he lamb of the first year without blemish for a burnt offering, and one ewe lamb of the first year without blemish for a sin offering, and one ram without blemish for peace offerings,
15 And a basket of unleavened bread, cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, and wafers of unleavened bread anointed with oil, and their meat offering, and their drink offerings.
16 And the priest shall bring them before the Lord, and shall offer his sin offering, and his burnt offering:
17 And he shall offer the ram for a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the Lord, with the basket of unleavened bread: the priest shall offer also his meat offering, and his drink offering.
18 And the Nazarite shall shave the head of his separation at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall take the hair of the head of his separation, and put it in the fire which is under the sacrifice of the peace offerings.
19 And the priest shall take the sodden shoulder of the ram, and one unleavened cake out of the basket, and one unleavened wafer, and shall put them upon the hands of the Nazarite, after the hair of his separation is shaven:
20 And the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before the Lord: this is holy for the priest, with the wave breast and heave shoulder: and after that the Nazarite may drink wine.
21 This is the law of the Nazarite who hath vowed, and of his offering unto the Lord for his separation, beside that that his hand shall get: according to the vow which he vowed, so he must do after the law of his separation.
22 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
23 Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying, On this wise ye shall bless the children of Israel, saying unto them,
24 The Lord bless thee, and keep thee:
25 The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
26 The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
27 And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel, and I will bless them.

ALSO LET INI ADDRESS AN IMPORTANT MATTER:

Many time I was told that a man shouldn’t have long hair (1 Cor 11:14-15), but I I would ask them why is Locs then advised to be grown (Numbers 6) and why did Samson, Samuel, Ras Paul and a few have them. It must be noted that long hair and locs are two different things in the bible. With the use of the Blue Letter Bible lets address it.

Locs in Numbers 6 come from the word (Pera) its numbers are H6545, meaning locs or leader which come from H6544 (Para) meaning to lead out, or let go, ignore. Real locs, free form locs are left alone, InI ignore the comb and peoples comments of how to look handsome or beautiful and stand for the Most High and chant down Babylon. The Long Hair term in Corinthians is noted as Komau and the numbers are G2863 stemming from G2864 and when you look down at its definition it means to designate hair as an ORNAMENT or care for, like how a woman puts clips and burrettes in her hair to make it look appealing and brush it consistently and so on, yes I, no man should spend such time on dem hair for that is not natural, hence nature doesnt teach man to do such things, Salon Locs fall in this as well because it’s not left alone, it is cared for and maintined to look appealing. But when you see a Bongo Man Congo Locs man, he don’t do them tings, thats why Babylon say InI locs is dreadful. Plenty times InI was told by unlearned people why don’t I go to the Salon and get it twisted, that dem look ugly. To me that is a complement because I don’t satisfy your worldly or gay standards.

Who was a Nazarite in the Bible?

Prophet Samuel- 1 Sam 1:28

Samson- Judges 13:2-25

John the Baptist- Luke 1:13-17

Apostle “Ras” Paul – Acts 18:18, 21:22-26

Here is a link titled” The Law Concerning the Nazarites”

Is Jesus a Nazarite?

When the Angel Gabriel visited Queen Mary, it was in Nazareth, which in the Greek form of the Hebrew netser , a “shoot” or “sprout. This is the city where our Lord was born and raised. This is also where he first started teaching, and the towns people rejected HIM, becasue they couldn’t get over the fact that HE was a carpenters son and couldn’t be seen as this majestic, mystic man. Matt 13:55-58

Because of their unbelief, in the natural the People forced our Savior to be separated by separating from HIM, Jesus is dread HE is that shoot or sprout, out of the Head of Man, like a hair follicle. His home explains HIM.

Jesus is also Nazarite because HE is the Son of God,The WORD OF GOD, HE is the WORD, SOUND AND POWER of “Separation unto the LORD”. So if you follow, He is not a Nazarite but is Nazarite. HE is higher than taking the vow, HE is the direction, which leads to the Results of the Vow which is Abba, Qedmawi Haile Selassie

The bible doesn’t say if Jesus was a Nazarite

Read here Luke 7:33-44
<!–more–

33 For John the Baptist has come peating no bread and qdrinking no wine, and you say, ‘He has a demon.’ 34 The Son of Man has come reating and drinking, and you say, ‘Look at him! A glutton and a drunkard, sa friend of tax collectors and sinners!’ 35 Yet twisdom is justified by all her children.”

To investigate: Here Jesus call himself the Son of Man, and admits his communication with tax collectors and sinners. Hail the Medi-ator, Jesus!!!! but he is accused of drinkng wine and being a drunkard, he also doesn’t deny that he drinks wine.

At the Passover, Jesus refuses to drink the last cup, the cup of Hallel “Haile”, Power, Glory

He says in Luke 22:18

For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.

in the NIV it says

For I tell you I will not drink again from the fruit of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.”

I highlighted “again” because it denotes that he has drank from it before

Isaiah 53:2 shares what Jesus looked like
He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.

Look at the language, HE was born in Nazareth which means, a shoot

PhotoGrid_1416328915052

It is interesting, that the bible say that HE won’t be desirable….many people who speaks about Selassie or say that they have met HIM, usually say that “Oh HE was a short man”. But in their tone and expression they put it in a way like, what so special about HIM, I don’t see the desire. People expect some tall stature man that brings attention to himself, I think this view of man is what birthed the “Napoleon complex” but no not Jah, Jah is humble….Jah’s humility, behind the scene his persona allows HIM to see the true colors of every one because people would not try to put on a show for HIM.Which gives I more proof that HE is what I know HIM to be.

We commonly know this picture of HIM

hqdefault

Yehoshua with long hair, locs…but from reading he was the Nazarene, the shoot and the root as he explains here in Rev 22:16

I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

and

John 15:1

I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.

Isaiah 11:1-2

11 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:

2 And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;

This is not a message to shame anyone, so let’s see why was the Nazarite Vow a way to get God.

In I own personal experience with the vow that I realized how much it has blessed my life. When I started my journey, I was called to be a Nazarite but I was first a Nazarene, I have been called to be a “shoot” for HIM. I have accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior since a young man, HE was truly all that I have known. My father is a Rastaman and as a child I would see his painted portait of Negus Ras Tafari Makonnen, without knowing who or what he was. My mom got us in church so I grew up learning about Jesus while imerged in a Rastafari culture.

After my first child, I developed a strong zeal for the Lord and was very unpleased with my discipline and my struggling battle with sin. I was tired of the Lower man having power over I, so one day I was remembering the time my father said Numbers 6 the Nazarite Vow and for a while the verse just kept coming to me, I would read it, question myself if I can do it to eventually just doing it to make me better.

I started checking my eyes on sexual lust and immoral practices, I cut out grapes and liquor, I also cut out all beef and pork, I would still eat chicken and fish sparingly but started eating only vegetables, black bean burgers, and any ital I can make and taste good.

For maybe a years time, I was winning the battle, the adversary came to I in forms of other peoples opinion and though it was true it’s delivery was not of God, for they haven’t accepted what has happened within I. After the New Year, In March 2011, I received a vision from Jah. And it was unlike no other dream, I have ever had. I saw a land where only the redeemed were, singing and praising God, pouring buckets of Water into a stream that ranned dry. Once the stream was filled with water, HIM Emperor Haile Selassie approached me and with his hand, he broke the yoke off my neck as well as discipline I, but as soon as HE touched I began to be filled with the Holy Spirit and speak with Tongues. It is written that we will have visions of dreams once his Spirit is poured out on us

img1416058130616_20141115090315571~2

I have to say Hallelujah because it blessed my life

And this was the end of my Nazarite vow, I went thru a process of purification. And that is what is was for I, I was being cleansed and gaining strength. This is symbolic to Samson, his strength was in his process of purification. It is recorded that some goes through this process only for certain amount of time while others go for life. If you read about Samuel, he was a Nazarite from birth and remained in the process of cleansing since his mom gave him to the priest, where he will grow to become a prophet.

As a Nazarite you do not become perfect, for no man is perfect, but you go through a cleansing. It is a symbol of being cleansed, this gives cause to people’s nasty disposition to locs, because locs is dead hair and when matted and coiled like the DNA’s chromosome it becomes unattractive to some, just like how Yehoshua was unattractive to some, remember he is the dread, Nazarite

Also I will like to share, that since its a purification..its similar to a baptism.

Romans 12:1-2

12 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Renew you mind, which is where your head dwells, which is where the “shoot” (Christ) springs out of.

What is the connection to Jesus and the Nazarite Vow?

Jesus is dread and it is revealed through the glory and appearing of His Imperial Majesy Emperor Haile Selassie.

As a child he was given the name Tafari Makonnen, Tafari means- To be feared, to be reverence, to inspire awe

Makonnen means- Obeying the Judge

Lets Look at the Websters defintion of the word Dread–the word that we use to call locs

1. (v. t.) To fear in a great degree; to regard, or look forward to, with terrific apprehension.

2. (v. i.) To be in dread, or great fear.

3. (n.) Great fear in view of impending evil; fearful apprehension of danger; anticipatory terror.

4. (n.) Reverential or respectful fear; awe.

5. (n.) An object of terrified apprehension.

6. (n.) A person highly revered.

7. (n.) Fury; dreadfulness.

8. (n.) Doubt; as, out of dread.

9. (a.) Exciting great fear or apprehension; causing terror; frightful; dreadful.

10. (a.) Inspiring with reverential fear; awful’ venerable; as, dread sovereign; dread majesty; dread tribunal.

As you can see, Tafari’s name is Dread

Let the locs on Iman head declare the King of kings the biggest dread Yeshua HaMoshiyah in his new name Haile Selassie I

Things within the Old Testament were the representations of taking on Christ

Like the Ark of the Covenant, Aarons staff with the budded Almonds, The Shew Bread, the Lamp Stands, Now we see that the Nazarite Vow is another representation of Christ.

Many say that Long hair is shameful but look at Isaiah 53 say about our Lord
3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

The people looked at HIM as if to say “shame on him”

HE is the glory of the Vow….When we follow HIM, Grow with HIM, We become cleansed, We will be recieved of the Father and for this we shall feel no shame from babylon althought they give it but hail our Jah with confidence, gratitude and gratefulness that we can declare the mighty God. For he is the “shoot” the “root” the “dread”, with my locs they will be the symbol of HIM and only HIM, and if i decide to cut it be not worried for the “Root” the “Shoot” dwells within. for HE says, Greater is HE who is in IN me than he that is in the world, these teachings are valuable and must remain in the mind, where the I will let Christ sprout from, for Christ is in the head.

1 Cor 11:3

But I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God.

Our Mother Mary says it best in Luke 1:50

And his mercy is on them that fear him (Tafari HIM) from generation to generation

So what Now for RAstafari?

Rastafari is the “Shoot” of christianity and it Honors the Righteous Branch out of David
Jeremiah 23:5
“The days are coming,” declares the LORD, “when I will raise up for David a righteous Branch, a King who will reign wisely and do what is just and right in the land.

That King is the Negus Dread QEDEMAWI HAILE SELASSIE THE SEED OF DAVID IN FLESH, THE KING OF KINGS AND THE PREVAILING LION OF THE TRIBE OF JUDAH IN MORTAL MAN THROUGH THE ELECT OF GOD, THE HOLY SPIRIT.

HE teaches through the Holy Spirit

Romans 10:9

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved

If you don’t accept in your heart HIM as your Medi-Ator then we would have denied the fullness of the Holy Spirit because the Job of the Spirit of Truth is only to Glorifiy Christ

John 15:26-27
26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
27 And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.

and

John 16:13-15
13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
15 All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

This Spirit of Truth, is Father and if you receive the Son, The Fathers Salvation, Yeshua and not lean on your own doings like growng your hair, you will recieve the Father because you have recieved the SON.

IF you think growing locs, leads you to salvation then you are sadly mistaken, it takes more than that, especially if you are taken the Nazarite Vow which is recorded in the same bible that testifys of Yeshua.

In my journey of the Nazarite, I didnt sit and just let my hair loc, I read the word, fasted and prayed in Jesus name to help me and the dread, the glory of my livication to Christ sprouted out of my Head, out of my Thoughts revealing to the Father my disregard for the world and my zeal to save my soul, and as a reward he appeared giving I the Spirit of Truth. I must also note that I also went through a trial of Isolation, the Nazarite vow synced up with ancient of doing things, like becoming a Shaman. Shaman are people who spends a series of time alone, praying and fasting conversing with their thoughts and speaking to Jah. Through this period their hair will grow into lpcs, a comb and babylon standards of how they should look becomes of no value to them and through this new life style, God reveals to them dreams and messages for others and themselves. I’m in the process of trying to become greater in this. The book Abba Keddus is good book to read about the Shaman

It’s an Honor for I share that I seen this, this was Iman vision

Isaiah 35

35 The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose.

2 It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the Lord, and the excellency of our God.
3 Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees.
4 Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you.
5 Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.
6 Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.
7 And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes.
8 And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.
9 No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there:
10 And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

And this was only possible with Yeshua being in my heart, HE used the Nazarite vow for his benefit to help me to see. If one takes the vow, take it seriously and let it only be an aide but not your source.

Acts 4:12

Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”

John 14:6

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

ayrfxd

Gal 2:21

I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!”

The above verse can help ones realize how important Jesus is, if the Law was our way to righteouness then we won’t need Christ, same way with the Nazarite vow, if growing locs was our way to righteouness then we won’t need Jesus.

Some people are content with locs, for they look the part and but is far from HIM.

Matt 7:21

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

The Will of the Father is to Glorify Yeshua

Matt 26:41

“Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

The spirit of locs, can temp you be part of a culture but not like Jah. I have experienced this, be careful to check yourself.

Rastafari Culture

Rastafari culture is unique, to some it’s confusing but who ever feels it knows it. RAstafari is defined as “Way of Life”, the Bible declares that Yeshua is the Way of Life. Some RAstafari honors and accepts Yeshua, some only deal with Haile Selassie I, some accept the Way of Nature to show dem who is Jah, some believe in the incarnation of the Spirit glorified in the flesh of other leaders who spoke for Africans home and abroad and some don’t see Haile Selassie as Jah but only Christ. But in the beginning, in the days of Leonard P Howell, the Patriarch. His movement evolved into the Nyabinghi movement, Bobo Ashanti, as well the 12 Tribes of Israel appeared after the development of the UNIA (Garvey’s Organization) and (EWF, Haile Selassie’s Organization), nevertheless, what I am leading to say is that in the beginning the Rastaman, under the Tafari, the Holy Spirit through the voice of Leonard P Howell were not dreadlock, they were people with short hair.

The Youth Black Faith were one of the first ones to wear their hair in locs
In the early fourties the Nyahbinghi tradition of Melcizedek and Moses experienced new-birth in Jamaica by Rastafari movement and particularly through the dread lock congregation of the Youth Black Faith (YBF), which is the birth camp of the theocratic house of the Nyahbinghi Order today. The prophet and seer name Ras Boanerges ( a.k.a. Bongo Watu

The Youth Black Faith started in 1949. Its members were young and fiercely supportive of the doctrine. They revolted against the Revival tradition and obeahmen who burned candles and oils. The Youth Black Faith were against that since the Apostle John had declared Christ”the only golden candlestick”.

The Youth Black Faith were now starting to grow dreadlocks. At the beginnings of the group, while it was forming, dreads were not widespread. However, the members of the Youth Black Faith encouraged locks and bearded men were even thought to be the chosen ones who would repatriate to Africa. The biblical reference of the Nazarite vow of Samson they thought to justify it. It became an issue within the group members whether they should comb their hair or not. Non -Rastafarians considered dreadlocks a statement of declaring oneself an outcast and in opposition to Jamaican society. Some decided that they were essentially not like”combed men”in society so there was no reason to try and look like them. As their hair grew, Youth Black Faith members became more belligerent and argumentative. They lived for the doctrine and against existing society under any circumstances. They had no desire to blend in with the rest of Jamaica. Some members could not devote themselves that much to the Youth Black Faith and kept their hair combed. Thus the Youth Black Faith was divided into two different groups: the”House of Dreadlocks”and the”House of the Combsomes”. (Chevannes pg. 158) In 1961, the leader of an unofficial government movement mission to Africa to investigate the possibility of repatriation was a Dreadlock. Before a decade had passed, the Combsomes were gone.

but lets back up a little….

For the culture of hair wasn’t picked up, until Leonard P Howell began to study Hindu culture, the influence of ganja and loc came. The Hindu and the African are distant cousins, and through the dynamic spiritual reunion, the dreadlock was introduced back into culture.

Here is some comparisons

African white face

spiritual hindu dread

The white faces in some African culture is considered food for the spirit.

In Hindu the Tilak is applied on the point at which the third eye or the spiritual eye is believed to open. Sandal: White sandal symbolizes purity, calmness and tranquility

RAstafari always talks about the I, the third eye, the Hindu’s do this as well, and forgive me I have mislabeled, their culture I mean no harm, just trying to make a comparison

Third eye

SPIRITUAL SIGNIFICANCE OF A BINDI:
The Ajna Chakra is considered to be the place of the “Third Eye” where one applies the Bindi. The Ajna Chakra is the site where one finally loses Ahamkara (ego or sense of individuality) when one achieves self-realization or reaches a higher level of spirituality. It is a way to remind one another in the society to see through the mind’s eye and see the bigger picture of the “Universe as One”.

But Back to Dreads

They have been around for a long time in all different styles and meanings

Incient dread

Conclusion:

I apprecilove the Patriarch because throughout this journey, I vowed within myself that I will go where ever Jesus is, because I know that HE is Truth, the Way and the Life.

One of the first books I bought on Rastafari was the “Promise Key”

It was the revised version by Incient Ras E.S.P McPherson which included the Howellite prayer titled ” Our Alpha” chanted to the Kumina Drum

Deliver me O KIng Alpha

I beseech Thee,

From all evil power, present, and to come

Whether of body or soul

Grant Us peace and health in they goodness

In thy favor give unto me Thy Scroptures

By the intercession of the Blessed Mother,

And of Thy Apostles, Peter, Paul and Andrew,

And of all The Saints, give peace unto me and

Help me all my life

So Thou strengthen me by The name sake of Thy mercies.

I’ll never be a slave to sin,

Nor go in fear, of any trouble,

Through the same King Alpha, Our Savior,

Who being through the Lord liveth

And reigneth in the Unity of the Holy Spirit.

Forever and ever.

May the Peace of Emperor Haile Selassie

Be always be with me.

May the peace O King Alpha,

Which Thou did give to Thy Disciples

Abide ever with power in our heart,

Standing always beteween me and my enemy,

Both visible and invisible.

May the Peace of the king of Kings,

His Coutnenance, His Body, His Blood

Consist, console, and protect me,

Thy Scriptures in my soul and my body.

O Lamb of God

By whom all the Faithful are saved,

Give unto me Thy Peace to remain with Theee

Forever more.

A’men to the Gong for that, our Patriarch declares a good foundation in Rastafari by declaring that the Lamb saves all ho are faithful and that Haile Selassie is Lord through the Holy Spirit. InI Patriarch had no locs but was the first Rastaman with a firm heart for Jah

Here is a pic of Leonard P. Howell and his wife Tethen

Leonard P

The Nazarite vow is helpful in your walk when taken seriously, Locs is not needed to serve Jah but Jah created everything for his purpose and glory. So hail HIM in all that you do, I tell you that you will walk into your purpose. Jah’s vibration is a calling within which will be very clear that men wouldn’t need to teach you.

1 John 2:27-29 KJV

But the anointing which ye have received of HIM abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in HIM. And now, little children, abide in HIM; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of HIM.

Lastly, look at HIM, He has no locs but is Earth’s Rightful Ruler, his ieart is already “set apart”

May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable unto you O Jah Rastafari Haile Selassie I, God of InI Fathers and Mothers. A’men
